Upon completion of this one day course attendees will be issued with their Solas Safe Pass Card.
Safe Pass course aim
All construction workers in Ireland are required by law to hold a valid Safe Pass Registration Card, which is valid for 4 years. This includes apprentices and trainees. Upon completion of this one day mandatory health and safety awareness course attendees will receive their Card.
The aim of Safe Pass training is to raise the standard of safety awareness in the construction industry, and to provide safety training for trades on the correct practices to be observed by those working onsite. This is required in order to avoid health hazards and prevent accidents to themselves and to others.

Your tutor will upload your results to the Solas card management system. Your card will be issued to your tutor about five working days after they upload your information.
N.B. Participants are required to bring with them a passport photo and PPSN number.

Cost & funding
Cost €195. This fee will cover the administration of the Solas Safe Pass Registration Card. DEASP funded dependent on criteria. Please contact us for further details.
Please Note: Solas has approved the reactivation of Safe Pass training in accordance with the Solas Standard Operating Pandemic Guidelines. Due to the additional costs charged by Solas and Safe Pass Instructors, and the additional COVID 19 safety measures we have put in place, the cost of our Safe Pass course has increased.
